We are delighted to show you pictures from our recent project, Pennywell farm in bloom. 🌱🌷🌺🌸🌼🌱🌷

We have been working on a full scale planting scheme recently over at the famous and multi award winning Pennywell farm, creating and designing a wonderfull perrenial and seasonal hardy planting scheme for them across the whole site from the big planting displays at the front entrance to all the planters and barrels surrounding the site, These are specially designed to provide year round colour and foliage with minimal seasonal dieback and just ongoing maintenance.

The big challenge with this project is we had to create a scheme that was animal friendly as its on a working farm and tourist attraction with various livestock and animals so we were limited to what we could plant and purchase but we think it looks great.

We are super proud of this and have had many comments and acknowledgments and are looking forward to our ongoing plant maintenance and other schemes/ projects across the site throughout the different seasons at pennywell.

With a hosepipe ban in place across the South West from this saturday 8th August 00:01am we want to help you keep your garden green!
Here are our best tips and favorite products to save water and help your plants survive the dry weather.

Water-Saving Crystals (Hydrogel)

This is a great product and readily available for any homeowner on amazon or most garden centres. it helps with the follwing.

- Saves water: The gel holds water and stops it from draining away.

- Feeds the roots: It slowly gives water back to plants when the soil gets dry.

- Water less often: You will not need to water your plants as much as it retains moisture for plants at the roots and in soil.

- Keeps soil healthy: It helps air get into the dirt so roots stay strong.

- Great for new plants: Perfect for new seeds and baby plants.

We also reccommend the use of water butts where possible, often local counils and water companys offer FREE water butts or water saving devices as an incentive for customers to save water.

Mulch the Soil: Apply a 5–8 cm layer of bark chippings, compost, or wood chips around your beds. This locks moisture into the ground and blocks the drying sun.

BIG NEWS! 🚨

We can officially announce that we have been contracted for a very special project over at the famous Pennywell Farm! 🥳

If you don't know Pennywell, it is one of Devon's most iconic, Multi award-winning tourist attractions, regularly featured on the BBC and ITV. 🏆

We are absolutely delighted to be designing and maintaining beautiful perennial planting schemes across the entire site—including a massive showpiece display of 4x planters right by the main entrance! 🌸

Check out this short video for a sneak peek at one of the projects we've already started. We are thrilled to be working alongside the directors to create something beautiful for all their visitors to enjoy. 🌿 And are looking forward to reglar weekly visits to keep them looking fantastic for all to enjoy year round.

Another day another garden clearence job for the Moor View Team. this one over in Ivybridge. We were asked to clear an overgrown front garden and we gladly stepped up to help. despite the heat and extremely dry ground which certainly posed a challenge we got the job done for the customer. check out the before and after pictures.

We are currently seeking a part time Self-Employed / Subcontract Gardener to join our Gardening team in the Ivybridge and South Hams area.

Overview: We are a busy, established gardening team looking to expand due to increased workload. So we are on the lookout for a reliable, self-employed gardener to join us on a subcontractor basis. We have a steady stream of residential and commercial work ready for the right person starting as soon as possible subject to a trial day and a formal meeting..

Requirements:

- Strong work ethic and excellent customer service skills.
- basic knowledge of plants and maintenance.

What a fantastic day we had yesterday at Devon County show checking out some of the latest machinery and gardening equipment and some plant displays and local plant nurseries and suppliers. We always like to work locally with south west based companies and devon county showcases some of the best in the business. We are looking forward to working with some of these on some projects we have coming up. A fantastic day out Thanks Devon County Show.
