Back up here for a couple of hours this morning to finish a little job off!
Air test and final inspection now done! It’s been a pleasure to be involved in this complete job and I’ll be back to build the garage as soon as I have time!

It’s only Wednesday but what a week so far! Old doorways blocked up, floors in existing house prepped and concreted, hedge trimmed (obliterated 😬) foundations dug and concreted and 100+ton of rubble from the old parts of the house crushed ready for recycling! Jobs elsewhere for the rest of the week but back next week to build foundations and get the floor slab in the extension hopefully 🤞

This was something a bit different. Client wanted to renew the driveway but I pointed out that might be a problem as the conservatory was built on top of it 🤦‍♂️. Not only that but when I’d removed all of the glass, propped up the frame and roof and removed the walls, the driveway turned out to be only 40mm thick in places and laid straight onto topsoil 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
Foundation dug and concrete poured, new walls built and I’ve been back today to fit new glazing units as most of the old ones were steamed up anyway!
Driveway destruction can commence 💪
