Clean lines, crisp edges and careful finishing all come from taking the time to get each stage right.

Every sash is made to order in our workshop, with the same attention carried through from machining and joinery to glazing and finishing.

The sort of work you might not notice straight away, but you would notice if it was not done properly.

“Can you add some colour?” 🎨

Absolutely.

This sash was finished in red to suit the specification for the job, but it is just one of the many colour options available.

Our windows are spray-finished in the workshop using the Teknos coating system, with colours matched to most popular paint brands or RAL colours.

So whether the specification calls for traditional white or something a little bolder, they arrive glazed, finished and ready to fit.

A recent project 🪟

Here's a closer look at the mix of bespoke sash windows throughout this property, all manufactured by us and installed by SashWise Limited.

With a job like this, the details matter just as much as the overall finish. The proportions, mouldings and traditional features were carefully matched to what was already there, so the new windows sit naturally within the property rather than looking like obvious replacements.

Manufactured, glazed and finished in our workshop, then supplied ready for SashWise to install.

Always good to see the finished result once everything comes together.

Made to measure and crafted with care 📏

Every sash and every door goes through the same stages here. What changes is the job. Sizes off the drawing, mouldings matched to the section that came out of the building, horns traced and reproduced.

That is the part you cannot rush. It is why the profiles match, why the joints close properly, and why a replacement window sits in a building as though it had always been there.

Ever wondered what happens after a window leaves the main workshop? 💭

Alfie, one of our directors, takes us through the glazing and finishing department to show you what happens next.

Once the frames have been made and constructed, the team takes care of:

• Spraying and finishing the frames
• Selecting the right glass for each job
• Fitting the glass into the frame
• Applying the externally puttied finish for that traditional appearance
• Completing the final checks before the windows leave us

Keeping these stages in-house means we can keep a close eye on the quality and finish throughout the process.

We manufacture bespoke timber sash windows, casement windows and external doors for the trade across the Southwest.

We supply the trade, so it arrives glazed, sprayed and ready to go straight in. No glazing on site, no painting on site.

• Luke works closely with the customers, handling enquiries through to working up the specification and putting orders into the workshop schedule.
• Shaun runs the manufacturing side, keeping it moving and making sure everything is ready for the machinists and joiners.
• Alfie oversees the glazing and finishing, including the putty line and spray finish, so projects are fully completed before they are loaded out.

"What are you working on?" 🔨

A casement frame with its two sashes, assembled and ready for sanding. The joints have been filled, so now it is a pass with a coarser grade and then a finer one, on both faces, inside and out.

A window that looks authentic and works properly is the result of many stages by people who know why each one matters.

From here it goes for hanging, then glazing, then the spray booth.
