Another kitchen refurb almost complete. Just the finishing touches left to go!

Upon starting this job, I soon discovered that the old wiring, supplying the kitchen, was not safe. After discussing the options with the customer, they opted for a partial rewire of the kitchen and dining area.

I also replaced the old consumer unit to make sure the installation met all current requirements.

New

-Hob Supply 🍳
-Oven Supply 👩‍🍳
-Ring Final Socket Circuit🔌
-Lighting Circuit💡
-Consumer Unit ⚡️

All tested and certified.

No more takeaways 🥡 for this couple, time to enjoy their new space.

Today's job was to install two L.E.D mirrors 🪞and toothbrush/shaver points 🪥 into the bathrooms of a new build property

No cables had been installed by the original developers so this one had the potential to be a little tricky. 🤔

With some very careful drilling, I managed to install everything without causing any damage and the customer didnt have the extra expense of having to make good any of the walls.

Anyone who has had to work in old council houses will know exactly how well built and tough the walls are!!!

New kitchen refurb started. The existing circuits have been altered to suit the new layout and any old sockets and switches safely isolated and removed.

Just waiting for the plasterer to come in and work his magic and then ill be ready to crack on with the second fix.

A quick turn around on this job as the customer wants to get moved in ASAP, so the after photos will follow shortly!

This one was a bit different from a few weeks ago.

Its not every day you get asked to work on a boat 🛥.

The consumer unit was located in the engine room and the only way in and out was through the hatch and up and down the ladder.

I carried out various works including, lighting upgrades, socket installations and rectifying work done by a previous electrician.

This job was definitely a challenge in places as the access wasn't great but the views and the weather definitely made up for this😎🌞

Ill try to stay on dry land for the foreseeable😂 but im always up challenge.

Remedial works carried out at a rental property in ipswich, following a recent E.I.C.R inspection. ⚡️

-Over 30 downlights installed, replacing old non fire rated fittings. 💡

-Old out of date smoke alarms replaced, with new Aico RF interlinked devices. 💨

-New consumer unit and upgraded earth electrode installed to keep the workshop at the end of the garden compliant. 🌎

-Old broken sockets and exposed connections all rectified to make the overall installation safe. ✅️

-All relevant certification issued and another happy customer. 📜

Started another kitchen for a lovely couple out in Charsfield today.

Managed to squeeze this one in so the customer could get a temporary kitchen back up and running for the weekend.

Old sockets relocated and made safe, existing oven supply temporarily connected back in to give them somewhere to cook and new sockets chased and wired so the base units can start to be installed tomorrow!

Lots of work to do in this lovely old cottage including a new utility room, upgrading the current consumer units and finishing off the kitchen! Hopefully more photos to follow.
