It was fantastic to see our Social Value Lead, April representing DPL Group yesterday at the Build Your Future hosted by Eastern Education Group.
With more than 200 aspiring apprentices and job seekers attending, the event created an invaluable opportunity to connect people with employers and showcase the many routes into the construction industry.
During the panel discussion, April and Clare from TMJ Interiors explored what it means to be job ready, the different pathways into construction and the latest Government announcements on technical education.
Speaking about Andy Burnham's recent support for greater investment in technical pathways, April said:
