Baldwin Plumbing & Electrics is a local family run business in Ipswich/Suffolk. With over 60 years of experience we have covered most jobs. We undertake all aspects of plumbing/ heating whether it is repairing a burst pipe or fitting a completely new heating system. Likewise, we undertake any electrical job within the home. Not only do we deal with plumbing and electrics, we also have years of exp

erience in building and carpentry work. We have completed 100's of extensions all of varying sizes and shapes. Within these jobs we also do small plastering jobs if it ties into the job as that becomes most cost effective for the customer. As a result, you only need us to complete the whole job! This job involved removing the old bathroom suite along with part of the floor to install a wet room bathroom. The reason for this was to make it easy for the customer to use the shower and not having to step up into a shower. upon the ripping out stage we discovered that the loo had been leaking and had actually socked and rotted the stud wall beside it, so we had to replace that and build a new one.

We arrived at this job to only change the filling valve and flush valve in the cistern as the customer said it was constantly running of water, however when we started to remove the toilet and vanity panel we discovered that the toilet had actually been leaking and has caused big damage to the floor!
New floor installed and new cistern as well.
