8 useful things to know if you are considering having a room in your home plastered.

1. Plastering isnt a messy job if its done properly.

2. The room ideally will need to be completely empty.

3. All the wallpaper will need to be removed.

4. The finished job should not need sanding, you can just paint it.

5. The plasterer will require at least 1 cup of tea/coffee 😉😆.

6. An average size room will take about 1 - 2 day to plaster.

7. Plaster normally takes about a week to dry before you can paint it.

8. Yes, you can put the heating on if you turn the radiator off in the room thats been plastered.

Managed to get back to a previous project to see how the plastering looked after mist coating.

I don’t usually get to see it like this, so it’s pleasing to see it all looking so nice with a coat of paint.

Think I’m getting the hang of it!

WHY MY REPUTATION MEANS SO MUCH!

During our very first conversation over the phone, before I’d even met the customer, they had already said that they would be happy to give me a key to their house, so I could get on with the work while they were out of the country on holiday.

All because I came highly recommended from a close of theirs who I’d previously done work for.

So today, after picking up the keys earlier in the week, I let myself in, got the job done, tidied up, locked up and posted the keys back through the door.

No stress no hassle no drama.

A reputation like mine is well worth working hard to keep.

A nice little en-suite bathroom all plastered out earlier in the week.
