So a friend of mine brought back a lamp from Morocco to changed to UK plug and make it safe. Safe was the operative word as it certainly needed it.. 2 pin plug 🔌 taped to an MR16 lamp holder with a 230v MR16 lamp! I have never seen one of those before. It all went straight in the bin. Used a Bell intergral down light with antique brass bezel. These ones are designed for low cavity ceilings. Connected to a new antique style 3 corded flex and a 5A plug top. Overall result is amazing, the pictures don’t do it any justice. My friend is really happy with it.
