I have over 16 years’ experience in the Damp & Timber Preservation industry, working throughout Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk.

I’m C.S.T.D.B. and C.S.S.W. certified, specialising in damp and timber surveys, pre-purchase inspections and structural waterproofing.

☀️As the temperature rises, the woodworm emergence season begins. This season is typically between April and September each year. During this time, it is critical to undertake any treatments as adult beetles will exit the timbers to mate.

For years now I’ve been trying to explain to home owners by the sea about evaporated salts in the air. Don’t get me wrong this house was literally on the beach! But a great find crystallised salts found the the double glazed window glass!

There’s two options here move the sea or the house they like the location so we are looking into moving the coastline 🤣🤣🤣🤣👊
