Another step closer to completion on our Sudbury loft conversion.

The transformation is now really taking shape. The plastering, decoration and second fix are complete, the roof windows are in, second fix is well underway, and the new space is flooded with natural light. Just the finishing touches remain before handover.

It’s always satisfying reaching this stage, where months of planning and hard work come together into a space that feels like part of the original home.

Last year, we were asked to build an integral annexe for our client’s mother-in-law, with one very important deadline…

It had to be ready for Christmas.

We started the build in November and committed to having it completed in time as a Christmas surprise for the family.

A look back at one of our favourite projects we’ve had the privilege of delivering.

This contemporary home extension was all about the details. From the striking steel-framed glazing, to the exposed brickwork, vaulted ceilings and bespoke oak beams, every element was carefully considered to create a truly exceptional living space.

Inside, the open-plan kitchen, dining and living area has been designed to bring the outdoors in, flooding the home with natural light and creating a fantastic space for family life and entertaining.

Projects like this don’t happen by accident. They require careful planning, quality craftsmanship and close collaboration with the client to ensure every detail is executed exactly as envisioned.

A key milestone reached at this Sudbury loft conversion project.

The loft is now fully boarded and ready for plastering, with the team pushing through some record-breaking temperatures this week to keep the project on track. ☀️

It’s always satisfying to see the space really take shape at this stage. In just a few weeks, this will be transformed into a bright, usable new living area for our client.

Progress Update – Colchester Refurbishment 🔧

Walls have been made good, stair balustrades and joinery are prepped, and decoration is now well underway. Spaces that were heavily damaged are starting to feel clean, bright and usable again — a big step forward in a short space of time.

With a tight two-week turnaround before the new owners move in, keeping momentum on site is critical. Clear sequencing, the right trades at the right time, and attention to detail are making the difference here.

We’ll continue pushing on and will share another update as we move closer to completion.

🔧 New Project Started in Colchester

We’ve kicked off a full repair and refurbishment on this property after it was unfortunately vandalised by the previous owner.

With damaged finishes throughout, incomplete works, and areas needing full replacement, this is a fast-paced turnaround — and one we’re well set up to deliver.

⏱️ We have just two weeks to complete the work before the new owners move in.

Thanks to clear planning, tight project management, and an experienced team, we’re confident of hitting this deadline and handing the property back in great condition.
