This Hall, stairs and landing are are now looking 100% better.
All white wood work in a satin finish and Dulux Timeless on the stairs and landing walls and Dulux pebble Shore on the lower hall walls.
All finished nicely with new flooring.

After the old rotten gate and two support posts were replaced with new ones, it was my job to make them look like the old existing ones.
Some repair work was needed on the adjacent fence to reattach it to the new post and some small repairs were needed on the pedestrian gate.
Now they all look good and are weather resistant.

This very old and exceptionally big front door was in need of a complete overhaul.

The four previous colours that I counted were all flaked, bubbled, split and cracked, so a complete burn off was needed.

The result is outstanding and the finished colour, farrow and Ball Pidgeon has brought the grand door back to life.

This old door had seen better days, but there’s still a lot of life in it.
Now transformed from a one piece door into a stable door.

The wibbly wobbly house where nothing is level or straight.
This newly installed bathroom is now looking very solid with a lot of gaps being filled and levelled.

Windows glorious windows.
Look closely and you’ll see how bad the rot had taken over.
Initially it was only to be the lower bay window’s, but it soon became apparent the rot had multiplied and taken hold on many more.
Using a resin wood filler meant a carpenter would not be necessary.
There’s a lot more to painting and decorating than meets the eye.

With the repairs completed,all the wood work is now finished in an opaque finish from the Dulux Opaque wood finish range.

The preparation on smaller jobs can be as much as the actual painting.
After all, it’s only the Walls that need painting.
