The Role

As a Skilled Carpenter at Woodworx, you will handle a diverse range of first and second-fix carpentry projects. You will work on residential renovations, commercial fittings, and custom timber creations, ensuring every project meets our rigorous standards.

Key Responsibilities

Execute high-quality woodwork, including first-fix (studwork, roofing, flooring) and second-fix (doors, skirting, architraves, cabinetry) carpentry.

Read and accurately interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and sketches.

Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber and other materials according to specifications.

Install bespoke fitted furniture, kitchens, and unique joinery pieces.

Collaborate efficiently with the wider on-site construction and installation teams.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, strictly adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a qualified Carpenter or Joiner.

NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery (or equivalent hands-on experience).

Strong knowledge of carpentry materials, wood types, techniques, and tool maintenance.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and problem-solve on-site.

Excellent attention to detail and pride in your craftsmanship.

Valid UK driving licence and your own standard hand/power tools are highly preferred.

CSCS card is an advantage (for commercial sites).
