Earlier in the year we were delighted to complete the footpath and footbridge works at Ben Rinnes, Dufftown we started last year.

The works comprised of 1000m of new path, a footbridge and fencing.

The project had challenging soft ground and the weather was not kind to us but we returned after the winter to leave a project we are very proud off. The team have left a very high standard. The photos attached are from the day we finished highlighting the exceptional skill from the team carrying out the turf reinstatement and surfacing works.

It was great to get a mention on BBC Scotland following the official opening of the new path.

We have been so busy recently it has been difficult to keep on top of our social media! The teams have been delivering excellent projects back to back.

We were delighted to complete a small coastal repair project for The Highland Council on Nairn Beach several weeks back. What a beautiful place to work!

The works involved the strip out of old storm damaged baskets and disposal, creation of a stable formation, installation of new baskets and rock armour and reinstatement of the area, planting of dune stabilisation grass and fencing. Well also carried out repairs to existing baskets to protect them for the future.

We are proud to have successful met the very high standards of the Achillies Accreditation scheme and have been awarded Silver+ standard along with a 4 star sustainability rating.

Alot of hard work has gone into achieving this accreditation at all levels of the business.

It was our privilege once again to support our great friends at the Highland Cross with their annual duathlon from Kintail to Beauly.

MCE provided 4 support vehicles for various stages of the event and carried out the distribution of the drinking water in the days leading up to the event.

We are proud to be able to give our small contribution to such a wonderful cause and hope everyone had a great time!
