Thursday saw the results of 3 years of design, build and fit out works on our own new-build cat 3 survey vessel. We launched her locally at North Kessock. Equipped with a combination of Norbit survey equipment and Garmin navigation equipment she is well prepared.
The conditions, whilst not perfect, were ideal for testing the sea handling capabilities of the boat. Marcus handled her well and now we look forward to putting her to work.

That’s a week long campaign of data capture finished on the western isles. The sea ranged from calm to angry, visable at 20 miles to only a few feet. We saw whirlpools, dolphins, porpoises, a fat seal and loads of marine birds.
Almost 300GB of data captured for a few of our repeat clients.
Even had a helper for one of the projects, Ollie keeping a watching eye for any obstructions during a harbour survey.

Seatrek Marine provided the vessel.
