This Skew and Valley were causing water ingress and were also done poorly with cheap materials. So we redone them with the original high quality materials. Code 5 lead was used on the valley and a Lime motar mix was used for the Skew with a code 3 Lead Soaker incorporate underneath the motar.

This is one we throughly enjoyed doing. The Dormer window had sunk down due to poor workmanship installing the lead sideslips, which caused the rafter to deteriorate into a terrible condition. With help from , we managed to get it looking great again! All lead has been redone, reslated using the original slates and using code 6 lead for the top, brought it back to its original condition.
