One of our garden rooms we’ve been working on recently.

This bespoke design has two open-plan rooms, separated by a shower room in the centre. One side will become a dedicated craft room, while the other has plenty of space to sit back, relax and enjoy the garden. ☺️

We’ve also added handmade timber steps, designed and built to work perfectly with the garden room’s position on the sloping site.

A lovely example of how a garden room can be designed around both the space available and exactly how it will be used.

A project we have been excited to share 😊

Our first Cuillin sauna is complete.

Over the past few months, we have been designing, refining and building a sauna with the same attention to detail and quality that goes into every Garden Den project.

Built from start to finish by our team, the sauna features black thermowood cladding, thermowood interior cladding, lunawood benches and a Huum drop heater to create a space to switch off and enjoy the stunning view.

We are delighted how it has turned out and look forward to sharing more of the journey with you.

We'll be sharing more photos, specifications and everything you need to know about the Cuillin sauna on our website very soon. In the meantime we would love to know what you think.

A recent Cairngorm garden room

Our client came to us when their summerhouse had been damaged by the storms. They wanted to replace it with a fully insulated garden room that they could enjoy all year round. The Cairngorm was the solution.

The garden room will be used as a creative space for our clients, a lovely quiet spot in the garden surrounded by nature.

Some of you might have spotted this garden room at the Cromarty open gardens at the weekend 🙂

A sad day yesterday as we said goodbye to one of our team.

David has been with us for the last 3&1/2 years, many of you will recognise him from your garden room builds. He is relocating up to the west coast with his wife Karen.

We wish David & Karen all the best with the move and he will still be working up there if you are looking to have some work done.

We have been back in Achiltibuie for one of our latest jobs.

We were first here in 2024 to build the garden room, walkway and double garage for our clients. They asked us back to build a pergola to connect from the house to the garage.
This covered space is ideal for them to walk from the house to the laundry in the garage and has the advantage of a another lovely seating area to enjoy ☀️

This position has become available due to a long-term team member relocating.

We take pride in the quality of our work, this role will suit someone who enjoys working to a high standard and being part of a small, reliable team.

We’re looking for someone who:
Is fully qualified and experienced
Is reliable and takes pride in their work
Can use their own initiative
Works well both independently and as part of a team

This is an employed role
Monday-Thursday
Driving license required, transport will be provided from our yard to the jobs.

One of our latest garden room projects in Nairn 🏡

This garden room is 5mx3m with a 2m covered canopy.
The lunawood cladding has been coated in Woca oil which gives it this beautiful finish. This has the added benefit of no maintenance for the first 6-8 years 😊
We have also laid sandstone slabs to finish the space off with a bbq hut at the end.
Just in time for the nice weather (hopefully ☀️)
