Another exciting milestone reached!

We’re pleased to share that Building Warrant
approval has been granted for this side extension in Inverness.

It will make a huge difference to the client by creating a generous bedroom and shower room on the same level as the kitchen and living spaces.

This is just the beginning, we can’t wait to show you how this space transforms over the coming months. Stay tuned for behind-the-scenes updates and progress as the project comes to life.

Project Spotlight | West End Tenemnet

Good design is about more than how a space looks, it's about how it works.
For this project, we reimagined the layout to create a clearer flow between spaces, giving each area a distinct purpose while improving how the home is experienced day to day.

Thoughtful storage was a key part of the design, from a hidden wine cupboard that adds both function and character to a carefully planned en-suite that makes the most of every square metre.

Swipe through to see the floor plan and discover how considered planning and smart storage can completely transform the way a home feels.

We’ve recently been working on some exciting new projects—from rural landscapes to industrial settings, and we can’t wait to share more as they develop.

What would you hide behind a secret door?

The best storage solutions are often the ones you don’t see.
This concealed walk-in wine storage keeps the kitchen feeling clean and uncluttered while making the most of every square metre.

Project Insight | Designing Around a Vision

The best projects start with a clear vision.
For this renovation, the client wanted an ensuite that felt bright, open and connected to the bedroom rather than hidden away in a dark corner. While there were several ways to achieve this, each came with compromises, reducing natural light, dividing the room, or creating a cramped layout.

By combining the client's ideas with our design and technical expertise, we explored a range of options before developing a solution that positioned the ensuite in front of the existing window. A glazed partition allows daylight to flow through both spaces, creating a brighter and more cohesive bedroom suite.

The before and after plans show how thoughtful reconfiguration can transform the way a space feels and functions. Good architecture isn't about imposing ideas, it's about working together to find the solution that best supports how you want to live.

Have a vision for your home? We'd love to help bring it to life.

Project Spotlight | Bedroom Project Spotlight | Bedroom & Ensuite Renovation

Come inside one of our smaller projects.

For this detached home, an ageing built-in storage unit was removed and replaced with a compact ensuite and shower room, making far better use of the available space while maintaining the generous proportions of the bedroom.

Retaining existing features was a key priority, alongside introducing new details that added character and practicality. The result is a simple intervention that has significantly improved the functionality of the home without requiring a major renovation.
For this project, we secured Building Warr
ant approval before handing the project over to the client to manage construction themselves. Whether you need a full architectural service or simply support with design and approvals, we can tailor our involvement to suit your project and budget.

Good design takes time.

While the renovation process can sometimes feel disruptive, the finished result is always worth it. Thoughtful planning, careful detailing and quality craftsmanship come together to create spaces that improve everyday life for years to come.

This bathroom transformation is a reminder that the best results don't happen overnight.

Not every renovation success story is immediately visible.

This small gap beneath a window may not look like much, but it allowed cold air to pass directly into the home. Issues like this are surprisingly common in older and listed properties, where years of alterations, movement, and ageing materials can create hidden draughts and heat loss. Many homeowners live with these problems without ever knowing they're there, simply accepting cold rooms, high energy bills, or uncomfortable draughts as part of living in a period property.

A thermal assessment can reveal what the eye can't see.
By identifying areas of heat loss, cold bridging, and air leakage, we can target improvements that make a real difference to comfort, energy efficiency, and running costs all while respecting the character of historic buildings.

The most valuable upgrades aren't always the most visible.
Sometimes, they're hidden in the details.

Project Spotlight | West End Tenement Renovation

When this growing family needed more space, we reimagined their B-Listed Glasgow tenement to create a dedicated home office, an additional shower room and a warmer, more energy-efficient home.

By combining contemporary Scots-Scandi design with careful conservation principles, we preserved the apartment’s original character while improving comfort and functionality for modern family life. The result is a bright, comfortable home that respects its heritage while meeting the needs of everyday living.
