💦 Dual tank system installation 💦

💧 A new tank installation that was designed to hook up with the existing water tank for both to work together

💧 This means both tanks fill at the same time and draw water at the same time to prevent any water stagnation

💧Tanks can be switched off separately to insure all properties on this system won’t be affected with no water during routine maintenance

💧 Another problem our client informed us about was dirty water entering the supply when it rains.

💧 After further investigation work it was discovered that feild drains were feeding the supply.

💧We then went on the hunt for fresh water springs. After some investigations we found 3 fresh water springs that are producing a vast amount of water Capable of supplying all the properties on this supply.

💧 A very satisfying job completed for our clients who have had some troubles with the supply over the years.

💧A new water tank installed last week to replace a very old brick tank that was showing signs of deterioration

💧This 3,000L tank gives the client 2x more storage than there previous tank which will come in handy with these drier summers

🔥 Well that was a hot one 🔥

💦 New tank and supply pipe installation this week near St Mary’s Loch to give 3 properties better water storage and more pressure by relocating the new tank. 💦

💧Over 200m of new 32mm MDPE.

💦 Different tank for a change 💦

Not our usual potable water tank going in this time. At a local estate.

Due to the poor condition of the current septic tank along with constant blackages our client decided it was time for change.

After a site meeting to discuss potential options. It was decided to upgrade the whole waste water system including a new 7 person One 2 clean Graf waste water treatment plant.

How a GRAF wastewater treatment plant works

The GRAF systems use SBR (Sequencing Batch Reactor) technology:
💧Wastewater enters the treatment tank.
💧Aeration supplies oxygen, allowing microorganisms to break down organic pollutants.
💧During the settling phase, solids sink to the bottom.
💧Treated water is discharged, and the cycle repeats.

Key features
💧Low energy consumption (as low as about 0.63 kWh/day for some models).
💧High effluent quality that meets UK environmental standards.
💧Quiet operation (around 36 dB).
💧Available for small domestic installations and larger commercial developments.

💧First Phase completed 💧

💦 New 25mm service installed to a property to remove their old lead service.

💦 Due to the property having tight access. We used the impact mole method to keep disruptions and digging to a minimum

💦 Phase two of the works will begin in a few weeks 🤞 getting rid of the remaining Lead pipe.

💦 We have received a significant increase in landlords and estate agents with rental properties contacting about their legal responsibilities and requirements surrounding the need to carry out lead renewals on their properties .

💦 cheeky old fittings hiding💦

💧Up over the Lochs today and what a day for it. Customer had reported that after a 12 hour stagnation period heavy metals where showing in there water quality tests however after a 30 second flush they test results came back negative for heavy metals.

💧our customer was puzzled about this as all the pipework was replaced with plastic including a new isolation tap.

💧our plan was to excavate and follow the pipework to see if there was any metallic fittings near by.

💧we found an old brass gate valve along with a copper fitting on to the plastic near the isolation tap.

💧 all old fittings were cut out and replaced by new Philmac fittings. After pipework was pressure tested we backfilled and enjoyed the drive back home 🌞 🌞
