Since the news of Jason Scrivens’ passing yesterday, there has been an extraordinary outpouring of tributes from customers, suppliers, colleagues and friends across the industry.

Having read so many of the comments, one thing has become very clear: the person we knew at Topline was the same person everyone else knew.

When Jason was visited at home a few weeks ago, several hours were spent discussing customers, the future of the business and how responsibilities would be managed over the coming months.

Despite everything he was facing, Jason remained focused on others. In fact, only last week he was still following up on behalf of a customer.

That was Jason.

Professional, committed, knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about doing the right thing for his customers and colleagues. He brought energy, humour and experience to our team, and we were fortunate to have him as part of the Topline family.

The number of messages received since his passing has been remarkable and is a fitting reflection of the impact he had on so many people throughout his career.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Kate, his three sons, and all of Jason’s family and friends.

Thank you, Jason.

You will be greatly missed.
