This one could have been a very expensive leak…

This week we carried out one of our FREE Commercial Roof Health Checks for a local garage in Axminster.

At first glance the roof looked absolutely fine. 👍

The drone images didn’t show anything that would immediately ring alarm bells.

But then we carried out a thermal scan…

Straight away we picked up a cold area running through the internal box gutter, showing signs of trapped moisture and water ingress that simply wasn’t visible to the naked eye.

The worrying part was the building’s main electrical consumer unit was directly underneath the affected area.

If that leak had continued unnoticed, it could easily have led to water getting into the electrics, a power outage, disruption to the business, lost revenue and a much bigger repair bill.

Instead, we’ve been able to identify the issue early so it can be dealt with before it becomes an emergency.

That’s exactly why we do what we do.

We’re trying to help businesses move away from reactive maintenance and towards planned, proactive maintenance.

This week we carried out one of our FREE Commercial Roof Health Checks for a local garage in Axminster.
