Out with the old, in with the new 🔥

We’ve replaced this 18-year-old Worcester combi boiler, which had started suffering from intermittent hot water, with a brand-new Ideal Logic Plus combi boiler — ready for winter. ❄️

This installation also includes EPH CP4 wireless heating controls for simple, convenient temperature control.

Every boiler we install comes with:

* Magnetic central heating filter
* Scale reducer
* Shock arrester
* ADEY chemicals only

All helping to protect the new boiler and heating system from day one.

⚠️ IMPORTANT GAS SAFETY UPDATE – FROM 1ST OCTOBER 2026 ⚠️

New gas industry standards are coming into force from 1st October 2026 under IGEM/UP/1B Edition 4.

The changes affect how Gas Safe registered engineers carry out tightness testing & purging of gas installations, including the pipework within homes and rental properties.

🏠 What does this mean for homeowners & landlords?

When we carry out certain work on your gas installation, testing will need to be completed in line with the updated procedures.

The new standard introduces changes to how acceptable pressure loss is assessed, taking into account the volume of the gas installation & pipework.

This may mean that an installation which previously fell within acceptable testing limits could require further investigation or remedial work under the new procedures.

For landlords, it’s another important reason to ensure gas work & annual safety checks are carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer & that any issues identified with the installation are dealt with correctly.
