We just love a Friday Fun Fact!!

23/09/2026

Another new van has joined the Bridge Lifts fleet!

A big thank you to two fantastic local businesses for helping us get another Bridge Lifts van out on the road and looking the part! 🙌

Signs Direct Ltd – once again, an amazing job on the artwork and signwriting. The van looks brilliant and you’ve absolutely nailed the Bridge Lifts branding. We wouldn’t go anywhere else!

James at Radar Finance & Leasing – a huge thank you for finding us another fantastic van at a great price and making the whole process straightforward from start to finish.

Firth & Scott – thank you for always keeping our growing fleet insurance up to date and, importantly, cost-effective. Whenever we add or change a vehicle, we know everything will be dealt with quickly and efficiently, keeping our engineers covered and our vans on the road.

As a small family-run business, we really appreciate working with companies that provide a reliable, personal service and genuinely look after their customers.

Another van ready for one of our engineers and another step in continuing to improve the service we provide across the Nottingham, Derby, Leicester and the wider East Midlands.

Thank you again to everyone involved! 💙🩵

Never Forget. 🇺🇸

Today, on the anniversary of 9/11, we remember all those who lost their lives, those who ran towards danger when others were running away, and the countless acts of bravery that day.

As a lift company, the story of elevator technician Charles “Chuck” Costello Jr. particularly resonates with us. He used his skills and experience to help those trapped inside the World Trade Center, putting the lives of complete strangers before his own.

A fellow lift engineer. A father. A veteran. A true hero.

24 years later, his courage — and the courage of so many others — will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸

11.09.2001 – Never Forget.
