🏡 EXTENSION UPDATE – ILKESTON 🔨
Things are moving quickly over on this extension project in Ilkeston! 👊

Since breaking ground, we’ve got the footings dug and poured, walls built up to DPC, a concrete insulated floor installed, brickwork/blockwork up to wall plate & a retaining wall for steps to be built soon.

🚧 And now the flat EPDM insulated lantern roof is going on!

It’s great to see the extension really taking shape — from a hole in the ground to a proper addition to the property in no time! 💪

More progress to come… keep your eyes peeled for the finished result! 👀

🏡 Langley Mill Repointing Project – COMPLETE!🧱

This property has had a full grind-out and repoint using a quality lime mortar mix, followed by the scaffold coming down to reveal the finished work.

We then gave the brickwork an acid wash to bring the bricks back to life, along with a thorough driveway and window clean to finish the job off properly. 👌✨

The end result speaks for itself — fresh, clean and ready to stand the test of time! 💪

Repoint underway Langley Mill. Our team is hard at work carefully removing old, damaged mortar and restoring the brickwork to improve both the appearance and structural integrity of the property.

The windows have been protected to keep everything clean and safe throughout the process, the scaffold is now in place allowing us to work efficiently and safely.

We recently completed a full refurbishment on this outhouse, including:

✔️ Installation of a brand-new EPDM rubber roof, backed by a 20-year warranty for long-lasting protection and peace of mind.
✔️ Blocking up an existing doorway to improve the layout and security of the building.
✔️ Rebuilding the rear house brickwork panel, replacing old, deteriorated bricks that had become unstable over time.
✔️ Slipped roof tile fixed back into place.

Another project completed! 👷‍♂️🔨

For this job, we carried out a doorway cut-out & fitted new lintels to create a practical utility room. We also supplied and fitted the new internal door, complete with architrave, giving the space a clean and professional finish.

The completed room looks fantastic. While we can't take credit for the plastering, as the customer already had that work booked with another tradesperson, we're proud to have played our part in transforming the space.

Front garden successfully transformed into a practical and attractive driveway!

This project involved a full excavation of the existing garden area, drainage alterations, and fence modifications to maximise the available space. We also installed concrete footings and constructed a retaining wall to ensure long-term strength and stability.

The finished driveway features a combination of gravel and paving slabs, providing a durable, low-maintenance surface with great kerb appeal.

From groundwork to the final finish, every stage was completed to a high standard, creating additional off-road parking and adding value to the property.
