🚨 Out of sight doesn’t mean protected
This property recently suffered a break-in - and one key issue stood out… the external alarm box wasn’t visible from the front, making the home appear unprotected.

We’ve now:
✔️ Replaced the damaged control panel
✔️ Installed a new front-facing siren to boost visibility and deterrence

⚡ When DIY electrics go wrong…
We were recently called out after upstairs lights stopped working - no trips, no obvious faults… and a bedroom fan (installed by a handyman) was still running 👀

After taking a look, here’s what we found:
⚠️ Loose live connection
⚠️ Earth wires twisted together
⚠️ No safety loop fitted if the fan came loose

This isn’t just untidy - it’s unsafe. Faulty electrical work can quickly become a serious hazard.

Electrical installations should always be carried out by a qualified professional.
