Location: based in Hyde.
Hours: Annualised hours.
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Bancroft Amenities Ltd is looking for a motivated and reliable Skilled or Semi-Skilled Sports Grounds Contractor to join our growing team. About the Role
You'll be involved in the maintenance and improvement of a variety of sports grounds and outdoor facilities. Working as part of our experienced team, you'll help ensure our clients' pitches and sports surfaces are maintained to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate and maintain a range of grounds maintenance machinery and equipment.
• Mowing, line marking, aeration, overseeding, fertiliser application, and turf repairs.
• Work in our in-house workshop and learn various mechanical skills.
• Assist with sports pitch construction and renovation projects.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
• Work as part of a team while also being able to use your own initiative.
What We're Looking For
• Experience in sports grounds maintenance, landscaping, or grounds care is preferred.
• Skilled or semi-skilled applicants are welcome.
• A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
