You might be perfect for this if you… ✅ Have an outgoing personality and love chatting with people ✅ Have a passion for the outdoors — gardening, forestry, farming, or similar ✅ Are reliable, enthusiastic, and keen to learn ✅ Have some sales or customer service experience (handy, but not essential!)

Just a wee reminder…
We’ll be closed this Monday for the “local” holiday — the one where half the North-East pretends it’s sunny, and the other half pretends they’re finally going to cut the grass.

Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause — especially if you were planning to trim the bushes, tackle the jungle, or finally show that lawn who’s boss.
(Although judging by the forecast… the only thing getting watered this weekend is you if you step outside.)

If anything urgent pops up, don’t worry —
we’ll be back in store at 8am on Tuesday, ready to help you mow, trim, chop, tidy, or simply complain about the weather together.

Enjoy the long weekend, stay dry, and maybe treat yourself to an ice cream anyway — it’s Scotland, we’re used to eating them in the rain.

This year, two of our own — Emma and Ellie — are lacing up their boots and taking on the Kiltwalk, all in support of a charity that means a great deal to us here at Strathbogie Scotland.

They’re walking for Friends of Anchor , the incredible cancer support Charity in Aberdeen whose care, compassion, and dedication have touched both of their lives. When you or someone you love is going through one of the most emotional and uncertain times imaginable, Friends of ANCHOR are there — steady, kind, and unwavering. Emma and Ellie have seen that first‑hand, and now they want to give something back.

We couldn’t be prouder of them.
