Window placement is such an important part of designing an extension—bringing in natural light, framing the views, and creating that connection to the outside that makes a space feel bright, open, and welcoming.

Another planning approval secured in Aberdeenshire - always great to see.

This is a replacement dwelling, designed to bring a fresh, contemporary feel while still sitting comfortably within its rural surroundings. A home tailored to my client’s needs.

A bit of a different one from me today.

I don’t show these too often, but agricultural buildings are another part of what I do. This was a recent visit to a completed working shed, and on a day like this it really shows how well it all comes together.

A big shoutout to the contractors, suppliers and structural engineer involved - a great example of a collaborative approach.

Great to see this one complete 👏🏼

The old underused garage has been converted into a bedroom, with a further two bedrooms added in a new extension to the rear - creating much more usable space that the family need.

We have also added a tall window to the linking corridor to pull natural light through from the new extension into the existing part of the home.

A small detail that makes a big difference - just look at how the light flows through ✨
