This month, we are proud to recognise an exceptional group of Cadet Force Adult Volunteers whose commitment, professionalism and dedication have provided outstanding opportunities for cadets across Central and East Region. From supporting major camps and large-scale public events to delivering welfare, administration, media, shooting, leadership and specialist training, this month's nominees have demonstrated the teamwork, flexibility and resilience that underpin successful cadet experiences. Whether working at the forefront of delivery or quietly behind the scenes, their efforts have enabled thousands of hours of activity, supported hundreds of cadets and ensured opportunities were delivered safely, effectively and to the highest standards.

Cadets are taught weapon handling skills as part of a structured programme of supervised training that emphasises safe and responsible use.

This week, 89 CE Region cadets and 25 CFAV have descended on RAF Odiham for MAC Week 4. During the first half of the week the cadets participated in a wide range of activities on the station including various station visits (Ground Engineering Flight, Visual Communications, Armaments Engineering and Survival equipment) as well as sports and drill.

The cadets have all had an amazing time so far and can’t wait for their final activities! RAF Odiham

Good luck for GCSE results today. It can be difficult, especially those of you away from home. If you’re on a camp, camp staff will give you support should you need it.

Remember there are many different options open to you now!

Our Adventure Training (AT) Stream of cadets had a great time on camp doing a variety of activities. Some improved their mountain bike riding skills, then went on to take on the tails. All cadets went rock climbing, kayaking, and took part in navigation exercises. They also learnt how to operate remotely piloted air systems (RPAS) which is a vital part of RAFAC's future syllabus.

Camp season is almost upon us!

The RAF base is geared up for our arrival at the MAC and the station team can't wait for everyone to arrive!

Everyone’s had breakfast, cleared their rooms and are assembled in the shade.

Coaches are arriving and the kit’s ready to be loaded. We’ve had a brilliant time this week but the coverage hasn’t stopped. We’ll be posting more stream videos and photos in the coming days.
