🚪🔐 Another Access Solution Installed Today

Today the Lockfit team were on site with a local business to upgrade one of their fire exit doors by installing a compliant outside access device.

The door previously functioned only as a standard fire exit, meaning it could only be opened from the inside in an emergency. This caused difficulties for staff who needed controlled access from the outside without compromising safety.

Our solution was to install a specialist external access device designed specifically for fire doors. This allows authorised entry from the outside while ensuring the door still fully complies with fire safety regulations and operates correctly as an emergency exit from the inside.

We’ve been called out to multiple properties over the years to fix the damage left behind by these operators, so we’ve seen firsthand how they work.
