We have now installed the main supporting beam, the next step is to install the crank steels that form the roof structure.
These mono pitch roofs look interesting to the eye, but they do require a lot of engineering to support them internally.
The clients will benefit from a large open plan living space once the internal facade has been removed.

Large rear and front extension including internal remodel of existing and of course exterior landscaping!
This project almost doubles the current m2, giving the clients some much needed space.

Foundations pumped and curing..✅

Unfortunately due to trees in close proximity of foundations and ground pridominantley made up of clay, we have had to double the estimated depth to pass LABC standards. People may vent that this is escesssive and over the top but these regulations are there for a reason and heave is a real threat especially when you have thirsty evergreens near by! A certain level of subsidence can be assumed/expected but heave makes the ground expand and pushes upwards compromising the structural integrity.

We can sleep easy knowing this foundation is sound ✅🧱🏠🏡
