ibility, costs, extent of our involvement etc. If required, develop feasibility through discussions with local authority and other related bodies. Produce initial drawings based upon consultations so far, amend and develop the scheme until suitable. Prepare and submit for planning approval, carrying out all negotiations with local authority up to receipt of planning decision. Prepare detailed working drawings, submit and receive Building Regulations Approval. Prepare Schedules of Work and Specification, obtain Tenders for the building work and prepare contract documents. Administer the project through to completion, making site visits and certifying payment. Provide Principle Designer service for Health and Safety.

Anyone who follows our social media (or has ever spoken to Tony!) will know that we have a close connection to Wakefield Trinity rugby league club. It goes much deeper than our love of the game and the club; we’re closely involved with Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation and are the principal supporters of the Learning Disability team (LDRL).

As we approach the annual Inclusion Round this Saturday (see link in comments for more details), and as we both celebrate milestone anniversaries (50 years and 20 years), we wanted to share what we get out of our relationship with the charity and the club in general.

SMASHED IT!! 🏆

A huge congratulations to our amazing friend and colleague, Louise Davison, who completed her epic 50 mile walk yesterday. She arrived back at the Farrar Bamforth studio in Huddersfield at around 11pm after setting off at 5am (finishing in 18 hours - well within the 20 hour target!).

The walk may be in the bag, but we have a few other things still going on for the Challenge, so we'll keep you updated.

A huge thanks to all who have donated and supported Louise, in particular everyone at Wakefield Trinity, who have been fantastic 🙌

25 miles in the bag! Louise has half the walk under her belt now, arriving at the Wakefield Trinity stadium ahead of schedule. She’s eaten, watered, and stretched and set off again to walk another 25 miles back to our studio.

What an achievement! See you in Huddersfield, Louise 🥾

She’s off! Very early this morning, Louise set off on her epic 50 mile walk to raise money for Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation and the Rob Burrow Centre for MND.

Her halfway pit stop is the Wakefield Trinity stadium so we’ll post an update then.

Only a few more days before our friend and colleague, Louise Davison, undertakes her epic 50 mile walk in aid of Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation and The Rob Burrow Centre for MND via Leeds Hospitals Charity.

Walking 50 miles in a 20 hour window takes serious training. Louise is working very hard and it’s about much more than just the walking. Here are a few things she’s doing to look after herself throughout the process.

There’s nothing we love more than a process-driven industrial building (not everyone goes into architecture for the glamour!). This was a standout project for us - a 4,000 square metre industrial laundry facility for Elis, designed around the efficient management of “dirty in/clean out”.

While £5 million for the build and £5 million for the fit out doesn’t sound like a tight budget, every penny was spent with purpose, giving it everything it needed and nothing it didn’t.
