When the rain starts outside, spaces like this come into their own. Warm light, water on the glass and the pool beyond create somewhere that feels made for slowing down, while the glazing keeps the Rutland landscape present even when the weather turns.

From the terrace through to the reception, study, pool and bedroom, the glazing keeps each part of the home connected to the light and landscape around it. With south-facing gardens and views across the Chilterns, every space feels open to its surroundings in a slightly different way, whether you’re working, relaxing or simply moving through the house.

Cast Corbel House was about giving a Victorian home more light, better flow, and a stronger connection to the garden.

We designed, fabricated, and installed the structural skylights, minimal sliding doors, glazed pivot door and slim windows, helping the new extension feel open without losing the character of the original house.

As the evenings get darker across North Yorkshire, Craven Barn starts to shift with them.

The 12-metre glazed elevation keeps the countryside in view through the day, while the motorised sliding doors can open the living spaces out when the weather allows. At the entrance, the Patina Bronze pivot door brings a warmer, heavier feel against the stone, timber and glass.

As the light fades, those same materials start to read differently, with the house feeling more enclosed and warmer without losing its connection to the landscape.

Designed around the connection between the home and its surroundings, this glazing opens the architecture to the changing light outside, from the first moments of the morning through to the final glow of the evening. The large glazed openings create a seamless relationship between the interior and the landscape, allowing the home to feel connected to its setting, whatever the time of day.
