Vacancy for hardworking and passionate gardener within an established and exciting Brighton-based gardening company. Starting at one day a week with more hours available. Join our small, friendly team who love to laugh. Enjoy learning from a seasoned gardener with 20 years experience, across a wide variety of gardening services.
Heidi Joyce Gardens and Landscapes is a unique gardening company. We deliver across a variety of garden services, including design, residential maintenance and commercial maintenance of public spaces. We do this in a thoughtful, sustainable and organic way. As a budding gardener (no pun intended) you will therefore learn a wide range of gardening skills. Our team is kind, inclusive, professional and fun.
You will be working in the fresh air and the jobs are varied and interesting depending on the season. You will learn how to manage a gardening year. You will work alongside Heidi, the business owner.
All ideas are welcomed in our team and you will be listened to. We all love to continue learning and often attend talks and visit interesting gardens after work.
Your attitude will be as important as your qualifications. We like to roll our sleeves up and get stuck into the gardening and you will need to share this approach. Our clients are king and we listen to their wants and needs. We always approach our work and clients with cheer and politeness.
Applicants must have a full driving license and a reliable car. Our business has year round work so we will be able to employ you 12 months of the year.
Gardening duties include pruning, weeding, digging, hedge cutting, planting inc. tree planting, mulching, leaf blowing and pressure washing. You will mostly work as part of a team and, from time to time, independently. We offer competitive rates that are set based on qualifications and experience.
