Should you be cautious about how often you’re opening a cold room door? ❄️

Technically yes, every opening lets warmer air in and cold air out, so leaving the door propped open for no reason is never ideal. But cold rooms are built to be used, and normal access throughout the day is exactly what they are designed for.
Good habits still matter though: keep openings purposeful, avoid unnecessary delays with the door open and make sure seals, closures and refrigeration systems are all doing their job.

Cold rooms wouldn’t be very good if frequent use was a problem, it will take a whole lot more than frequent use before you start to compromise the interior.
