Rich burgundy cabinetry, warm natural timber and carefully integrated lighting come together in this bespoke library, creating a space that feels both classic and contemporary.

Every detail was designed around the room — from the full-height shelving and beautifully framed window to the built-in desk, corner shelving and layered architectural mouldings.

The result is a warm, characterful space with plenty of room for a growing collection of books, treasured objects and everyday moments.

At Millais Smith Bespoke, we specialise in creating beautifully crafted, bespoke fitted furniture that combines exceptional craftsmanship, and meticulous attention to detail. Every project is thoughtfully designed around our clients, their homes, and the way they live.

Chris brings years of expert craftsmanship and a passion for creating exceptional bespoke furniture, while Nadine looks after the design, client experience, and day-to-day running of the business. Together, we’re dedicated to delivering beautiful spaces with a personal, family-run approach.
