Baking cakes and other delightful treats is what we are best at. We eat, sleep and live cake and the idea of our homemade bakes in our lovely subscriber's homes makes us blush with pride. We bake all of the cakes by hand in the Cake Tasting HQ kitchen which has a five star cleanliness rating, hooray! Our core recipes are traditional ones passed down from our Nana's, we love a bit of Nana cake! We

use delicious ingredients and ethical packaging, that still looks jazzy, which makes us (and our Mum's) proud. Our eggs are always free range and all our bakes are 100% vegetarian. Here at Cake HQ we like our brownies gooey with a crisp top and our cakes fluffy and packed with buttery frosting. Every month we take time to plan a unique box full of cake, with a carefully matched tea/coffee. We try to work with the seasons to create three bakes that complement each other and most importantly that you will just love! I got a message from a customer a while back that meant so much.

She told me her mum rings her every month when the box arrives. They talk through every bake together. It’s become their thing.

So many of the people who order from me are buying for someone they love but can’t always get to see. An elderly parent. A friend who lives alone. Someone they haven’t been able to see as much as they’d like.

The box lands at the door and gives them a reason to connect. 💓

The Tasting Box gives you six (or 12) bakes, three cakes and three brownies, all different flavours. The Cake Box is three cake flavours, six or 12 portions. The Brownie Box is three brownie flavours, six or 12 portions, proper and fudgy.

Every bake made fresh to order in small batches, individually wrapped with full ingredients and allergen information, and sent first class tracked to your door.

Flavours change completely every month. Orders open on the 16th and close on the 15th.

Palm oil is in a surprising number of products. Most people might not notice, but when everything else we do is about real butter, free range eggs and making things properly from scratch, it felt like a contradiction I couldn’t ignore.

So we’re working on it. Starting with the Biscoff brownie.
