Patterned floor tiles are a brilliant way to bring personality into a bathroom without needing lots of colour elsewhere. They work particularly well in smaller spaces, where the floor becomes a real feature and adds character the moment you walk in. A great choice if you want something a little different but still timeless. 😍👍

Something a little different... 👀

This job in Great Lime Kilns, Southwater, wasn’t about ripping out an old bathroom or fitting a new kitchen. This time, it was all about the floor.

We removed the existing lounge carpet, laid insulation boards and then installed underfloor heating throughout the room. Once that was all in place, we tiled over the top to create the finished floor.

This transformation is worth another look. A few years on, and we still love how this bathroom in Cuckfield came together. 👀

We started with a complete rip-out, knocking down the dividing wall and then building a new replacement wall to create a larger, more spacious bathroom.

And the finished look is all about those traditional touches. Gold fittings, green painted wall panelling, metro tiles on the walls and beautiful hexagonal mosaic floor tiles.

The result is a bathroom with loads of character that feels classic, individual and built to last.

Take a look at the transformation from start to finish.

Some reviews deserve another moment in the spotlight. 😍👍

"Lewis was just outstanding, so polite, tidy, efficient, reliable and highly professional. Sorted a leaking towel rail, shower waste, fitted a new electric heating element to another electric bathroom towel rail that had stopped working and fitted new waste pipes etc under kitchen sink that was leaking. Nothing was too much trouble. He also bled and balanced all our radiators, just to help us. I would highly recommend without hesitation. Absolutely lovely guy, nothing was too much trouble and very reasonable cost. Thank you so much Lewis."

The direction you lay your tiles matters more than you might think. 👀👇

Vertical tiles can add height and create a sleek, contemporary feel, while horizontal tiles can make a room appear wider and give the space a more traditional look.

It’s a simple design choice, but the right orientation can make a surprising difference to the finished bathroom.

Here’s a look at some of our recent projects, 3x vertical, 3x horizontal and the last image a mix of both! Vertical or horizontal, which would you choose?
