July is in the rearview mirror, and what a testing but rewarding month it has been for Mike Lee Plumbing and Heating! 😅

We recently welcomed Matt to the team, and the feedback from him, along with the countless 5-star reviews from you all, has been absolutely incredible. Thank you! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

With two of us on board, we've gone from being completely overloaded to finally having the capacity to take on more work. If I'm being dead honest, it meant we weren't out working every single day like we had initially hoped. With the crazy heatwave we’ve had, we totally understand that plumbing hasn’t exactly been top of mind—everyone has probably been saving up and putting their money towards air conditioning instead! ☀️🌡️

This brought a completely new challenge for me: focusing hard on marketing to keep both of us busy. It was a tough learning curve, but looking at the final numbers, we still completed more jobs than last July and hit yet another record-breaking month for revenue and jobs! 📈💪

We are still here, ready and available to sort out any plumbing and heating issues you’ve got ASAP. Thank you so much for your continued support in the service we are trying to provide.

Halfway Through 2026: A Quick Update from Mike Lee Plumbing & Heating ☀️🔧
Wow, what a scorcher we had last week! 🥵 I hope everyone has been enjoying the summer weather. As we officially hit the halfway mark of the year today, I wanted to give you a quick, honest update on where things are at with the business.
To be completely transparent, I started June needing a serious reset. 🛑 After the massive workload we pushed through in March, and still carrying some heavy burnout from late last year, I took a much-needed two weeks off. You can't pour from an empty cup, and I needed that time to regroup. 🔋
That break allowed us to officially bring Matt onto the tools at the start of the month, and what a game-changer he has been! 🛠️ It is incredibly reassuring to have another engineer who matches the exact high standard of service I built this business on. The 5-star reviews and messages rolling in about how happy you are with his work have been fantastic to read. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Having two of us on the tools has increased our labour capacity by 150%, and it's given me 150% more time to focus on the backend of the business. 📈
I’ve spent the last month heavily focused on stepping into a management role—dialling in our admin, standard operating procedures, and booking systems. 💻 We are building a completely seamless experience for you: from taking your initial call, to showing up on time, getting the job done right, and providing excellent aftercare. 🤝

⛳️ GREAT DAY FOR A GREAT CAUSE! ⛳️

Last Friday, we were out on the course for the Grahams Plumbing Charity Golf Day at Mannings Heath Golf Club, raising vital funds for Horsham Matters! 🤝

Horsham Matters does incredible work for our local community—especially looking after residents when they need it most, just like they did during Covid. We are proud to support them.

Huge shoutout to Mitch from the Graham Plumbers Merchant Horsham branch for doing a stellar job organising the entire day.
It’s the second one we've attended, and it was just as good as the last—featuring a mix of my best golf shots... and some of the worst! 😂🏌️‍♂️
