Check out this concealed shower transformation we kicked off last Friday. We wrapped things up today, and the results speak for themselves!

We installed a brand-new shower pump and a sleek concealed valve. We even carefully removed the original tiles to add a second outlet, then re-tiled so seamlessly you’d never know we were there. 🛠️✨

🛠️ Halfway Through November Update & Important Winter Notice! ❄️

Honestly, October was our busiest month EVER! 🎉 We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support and trust you've put in us. We doubled our revenue from last year, and that’s all thanks to our incredible community! 🙏

I felt every single one of those hours, and I'm now actively focusing on managing our workload differently and better for the remainder of November and definitely into December. Your safety and quality of work are our top priority!

Here's the current lowdown and what you need to know:

Capacity Crunch & Service Limits

We are currently at maximum capacity! To maintain the high-quality service you deserve, we are having to temporarily limit some services.

Important: We are currently unable to accept new boiler service requests for the time being. We simply can't take on every inquiry, and we appreciate your understanding as we focus on current and urgent jobs.

Recruitment Update

The search for a fantastic, trustworthy new engineer is still on! 🕵️ We have a van ready to go, and I'm pushing hard with Plan B this week to find the right solution until the perfect person is onboard to double our capacity and ease the pressure.

⚠️ Winter Weather Warning! 🥶

Reports suggest temperatures are dropping to 4°C, which means an influx of boiler breakdowns is inevitable.

Please Note: Winter boiler breakdown requests are now classed as emergencies with a relevant charge applied.

Pro Tip: The perfect time for a service was summer! If your boiler isn't working now, you're not alone, but our focus has to be on breakdowns and existing customers to keep everyone warm.

Guess what happened today while we were out on the job? 🤯

We were doing a full boiler service on a customer's old but faithful Worcester Greenstar 24 Junior. This unit has been going strong for about 16 years and had six previous services. We were just doing our routine check-up, and BAM! We found a gas leak on the installation pipework. 😬

It was only 1 millibar, but even a tiny leak is enough for us to cap off the installation and put a cap in the meter. We never take risks with safety!

🔧 Why We're Sometimes Running Late 🕰️

It's situations like this that sometimes make us a bit behind schedule. We can't just walk away knowing there's a safety issue one we can fix easily there and then. Our top priority is making sure the customer has a safe home and their gas supply is secure. That means sometimes staying on if it’s not too major until the issue is dealt with, even if it means rescheduling our next job.
