are registered with the Construction Industry Council (CIC) and undergo regular audits to ensure we uphold a high service standard, giving you confidence as we carry out building regulations approval for your projects.

Back in April, YDBC Building Control became enevo Building Control.

This was a big step forward for us - expanding our coverage to nationwide, welcoming new faces to strengthen our team, and making it easier for our clients to access a complete one-stop shop for building regulations.

Nothing else has changed - we’re still the same trusted team, offering the same service and expertise you’ve always known. The only difference is our name, logo, and brand colours.

So if you’ve been wondering - no, we haven’t been bought out. You can still reach the same people you always have, whether that’s John Norfolk, Seb Jackson, or Simon Berry.

We continue to provide all the services you relied on before - including building control plan checks, site inspections, and final sign-off.

But now, as enevo Building Control, you also have easier access to a wider range of compliance services such as Air Tightness Testing, SAP/EPC, Acoustics, BREEAM, Energy Statements, Overheating Calculations, and more, as well as Building Regulations Principal Designer (BR-PD) through enevo.

This weekend, "Team enevo" is taking on the Lake District Ultra Challenge – a trek through some of England’s toughest terrain to raise vital funds for Alzheimer’s Society in the memory of Christine Heptonstall (mother of Mark, our Founder & CEO) who sadly lost her battle with Alzheimer's earlier this year.

In a fortnight's time (7th and 8th June), the enevo team will be taking part in the Lake District Ultra Challenge through some of England’s toughest (and most beautiful) terrain, all to raise vital funds for Alzheimer’s Society.

Project Update: CAT A Fit-Out of First-Floor Office Space🏢

We’re excited to announce the successful completion of a recent project in Stoke-on-Trent, where we attended the final inspection and signed off on a CAT A fit-out of a first-floor office space.

The work included installing a raised floor, a suspended ceiling, the formation of a WC block, and mechanical and electrical installations.
