Serviced this Vaillant today which had not been looked after for such a long time and they paid the price. Faulty AAV, flue turret seals leaking, flue adaptor broken, insulation pads damaged and after all that, main heat exchanger split 🙈 Ended up being a new boiler. Stay tuned for the new install 🔧 🎵

Canaries has travelled up to Newcastle this week to install a boiler for a friend. The old boiler was a bit of a mess but installed the trusted .uk. Tidying up the pipework as best as I could. Condense pipe outside wasn’t even discharged in a drain so had to relocate and upgrade size of pipe. Also had to replace micro-bore pipework upstairs which was blocked & installed 3 new radiators. Power flushed the whole system all working

My first install of the Original Remastered Vaillant. Had a lot of fun with this one, had a blank canvas to work on, old back boiler stripped out and new location for the boiler .uk . Hope to be fitting many more of these 🔧 Full power flush carried out and a 10 year warranty 💦 #

Full strip down service on a Vaillant Eco Tec Plus, had quite a few issues on this boiler.
Blocked pressure sensor, g10 seal replaced, leaking diverter, insulation falling apart also carried out a flue integrity test which was leaking CO. Had to replaced flue seals and turret seal. 26-9 checks carried out and boiler is working safely 🔧

Todays job with the old man replacement of a section of cast iron soil stack which had a serious blockage, had to dig pretty deep but found the blockage and replaced the section of pipe and included a rodding point 🔧 💦

Someone call the plumbing police 🚨 Had a job today to inspect a header tank in the loft, I couldn’t believe what I saw, tank resting on 2 copper pipes buried in the wall. Tank had started to sag, I’ve drained the heating system down and will come back to make this system safe. Was an accident waiting to happen 🔧
