It’s been a while since we have had 1 of these……loft conversion completed over the last couple of days, but we also had under the new staircase going into the loft to plaster.

Also very tricky to get the shape but me mesh it all out and we use bonding to build the shape
We apply 3 coats of bonding til its shaped and then we turn around and plaster it.

Great finish always looks smart and tidy when it’s complete!!!

So following on from previous post….we had completed the ceiling and wall as originally priced to do……having completed this I then knew from my experiences of years in the game was that the customer was going to want the whole room plastered 😂 it’s always the way once you see how much better a newly plastered wall/ ceiling is you want the whole room done.
Lesson to all don’t cut corners and get the whole room plastered!!!

We have been on the big job for the last 6 weeks now but also have had lots of other work being done. We had to pull off to complete a few other jobs this week but this is a job in smallfield we completed in just 2 1/2 days.

LJR plastering is looking for a new member to join our team. We are looking for a young labourer who is willing to learn the trade.
Has to be punctual, have a good positive attitude. Experience isn’t a must but if you have experience in plasterboarding and dot and dabbing then that’s a bonus.
Must drive to be able to get to work.
Being able to handle the banter on site 😉

Job completed in Reigate today…. Very tricky and awkward stairwell over the last couple of days, but customer was over the moon with the end result as where we.
