From tired and dated to warm, characterful and completely transformed.

We’ve just wrapped up this full renovation and these before-and-after photographs show exactly what can be achieved with the right design, craftsmanship and attention to detail.

The project included:

• Decorative oak entrance porch
• Front door and integrated seating area
• Purpose-built log store
• Complete kitchen renovation
• New utility room
• A full bathroom renovation
• Rear porch extension with a vaulted ceiling

The oak porch has completely redefined the front of the property, while the internal renovation has turned a series of dated rooms into bright, practical and beautifully finished spaces.

A huge transformation and one we’re incredibly proud to have delivered for another lovely client.

The finished space is what you see. The craftsmanship behind it is what makes the difference.

A selection of kitchens from some of our completed extension and renovation projects.

Each one completely different in design and specification, but all delivered with the same attention to detail throughout.

For us, quality isn’t just about the final finishes. It starts with the structure, the preparation and the details that will eventually be hidden and continues right through to the elements you interact with every day.

We’re currently welcoming enquiries for upcoming projects across Surrey & Sussex, including:

• Large extensions
• Full home renovations
• New builds

If you’re considering a significant project and looking for a contractor to manage it from construction through to completion, we’d be pleased to hear about it.

Built properly. Finished beautifully.

A well-considered extension or renovation is about far more than adding square metres.

It’s an opportunity to completely reimagine your home, how it looks, how it functions and how it feels to live in every day.

Done properly, an extension or renovation can create more usable space, improve the flow of a property, enhance its appearance and contribute to its long-term value.

But the value is ultimately determined by the quality of the design and the quality of the build.

This project is a great example.

What began as a dated bungalow was completely transformed into a substantial modern family home.

It’s not simply about what you spend. It’s about what you create.

Considering transforming your home?
Let’s start with a conversation.

Every successful project starts long before construction begins.

After months of discussions, planning, design development and structural engineering, we’re delighted to have secured another exciting home transformation starting this September.

Although the finished result will appear clean and effortless, achieving it requires extensive planning behind the scenes.

This project includes:

• Significant structural alterations

• New steel frame installation

• Pad foundations and structural columns

• Complete kitchen reconfiguration

• Opening the rear of the property to create a bright, open-plan family space

Our role is to coordinate every stage so our clients can enjoy the process with confidence, knowing every detail has been considered before work begins.

We’re looking forward to sharing the progress over the coming months.

One of the best parts of our job isn’t completing the build.

It’s receiving messages like this afterwards.

Building an extension is a major investment and we understand that inviting a contractor into your home requires a huge amount of trust.

That’s why we place just as much importance on communication, organisation and client experience as we do on the workmanship itself.

A huge thank you to Karl and Lara for taking the time to leave this review. It genuinely means a lot to the whole team.

If you’re planning an extension, renovation or new build across Surrey or Sussex and would like to discuss your project, we’d love to hear from you.

Project Spotlight | The Gables

Some projects are memorable because of their complexity.

The Gables is one of those projects.

From complex structural alterations and bespoke steelwork to an intricate hand cut roof, this project demanded careful planning and exceptional craftsmanship from day one.

The internal fit-out is scheduled to be completed in a later phase, but the construction work completed so far showcases exactly the type of technically challenging projects our team loves delivering.

Swipe through to see behind the scenes.

£200,000 sounds like a lot of money… and it is.

But when you break down everything that goes into delivering a high-quality extension, it starts to make much more sense.

From skilled trades and structural steel to project management, insurance, compliance and the countless details behind the scenes, every pound has a purpose.

A professionally built extension isn’t just about creating more space.

It’s about investing in something that will add value to your home and serve your family for decades to come.

The best projects aren’t simply built well, they’re planned well from the very beginning.

A typical £200k extension budget

Not with exact figures (because every project differs), but illustrative ranges such as:

👷 Labour – 35–45%
🧱 Materials – 25–35%
🚜 Groundworks & Structure – 10–20%
📋 Management & Overheads – 10–15%
⚠️ Contingency – 5–10%

If you’re planning an extension, renovation or new build in Surrey, we’d be happy to arrange a no-obligation Project Consultation.

The cheapest quote often becomes the most expensive.

Not because the builder is trying to mislead you…

But because many quotations are prepared from incomplete information.

When architectural drawings don’t fully define every aspect of the project, each builder has to make assumptions.

Some assumptions reduce the quoted price.

Others make sure the project can actually be delivered.

Before we price a project, we’re looking far beyond what’s drawn on the plans.

We’re considering things like:

✔️ Structural steelwork and temporary works
✔️ Foundation and drainage requirements
✔️ Insulation and Building Regulations compliance
✔️ Access and lifting requirements
✔️ Realistic allowances for kitchens, bathrooms, flooring and decorating
✔️ The countless details that often aren’t shown on the drawings

These aren’t “extras.”

They’re simply the reality of building a home properly.

That’s why our quotation isn’t always the cheapest on day one.

But our aim has never been to win work by being the lowest price.

Our aim is to give our clients the most accurate picture of what their project is likely to cost before work begins, reducing unexpected variations and difficult conversations later.

When comparing quotations, don’t just ask:

“Which one is cheapest?”

Ask:

“Which one is most complete?”

Because the cheapest quote today can easily become the most expensive project tomorrow.

Not sure whether your drawings are detailed enough for accurate quotations? We’d be happy to have a look and give you some honest advice before you go out to tender.
