Nothing like a selfie and a little concentration while edging the lawn.
The autumn might be here but there is plenty of colours still in the garden even though it's been very wet recently spoiling the flowers.
However the lawn has come back really well

Blind summit
So up all the Yorkshire stone steps and trail to the top of the first blind summit onto the next path.
It's great when you take someone for the first time and they are getting tired and just say just a little further and you will be at the top 😄. Yes the top to the next path to the next blind summit anyway.
It's quite cloudy so I know there isn't much to see unfortunately other than me 🤣🤣💪
I got warm climbing so forget the rain ☔ I've taken my fleece off

All done in 4 hour
One of my teams came to do the strimming and I got the majority of the mowing done.
My daily exercise walking up and down for 3½ hours
Looks all r**t
I'll go home now and hav a coffee ☕☕ or two 🙂

Grass cutting
Not bad for me that. Nearly straight 💚😄🪦🪦👍
Tired legs after 4 hours and still getting some straight lines in
The grass is growing like crazy
It's growing here between a couple of inches to a foot in places in Just the last couple of weeks

Good knees and agility required
When running over graves with the lawnmower one has to be able to move body weight and legs quickly although this churchyard is pretty good 😊
Just in a few places where people have leveled the ground before it's settled and it's then sunken.
Still I'm here and I'm doing

I could be wrong but I think that is green grass
Some said it wouldn't grow back when I was cutting it down 4 weeks ago when it was golden brown!!
What do you think?

It's going to take me a few hours to get through the long grass.

A daily occurrence with the strimmer line 😂😂
Does it look like it's self feeding to you guys? 🤣
This has to make you smile 😊
Tbh it must be the type of line in the strimmer as I don't normally have this problem.
This strimmer head is normally quite good and feeds out the line reasonably ok although always as much as you need.
Plus as it's not a bump feeder it does last longer
The model is the automatic one with the button ✅.
Nothing like having a laugh about it though.

Stunning rudbeckia flowers
These I bought from proctors nursery last year and planted them in a border with all the other plants I got from the proctors stand.
I'm looking forward to seeing them again soon at Newby hall in a couple of weeks as I need to buy some more plants for the proctors corner in my garden.
I need something for the obelisk hint hint 😃🙏💚
The rudbeckia is looking particularly stunning today as the sky is a strange pinkish colour adding to the colour.
