'STEP INTO MY OFFICE`... err, I mean Summer house.

My clients didn't like the idea of taking a run up to jump into their Summer house any more. They asked me to build a step to make access easier. Now access is much easier.

Working alongside Howdens, Hook, we made great use of the space in this confined utility room. All planning credit goes to the designer, Sarah, as she really made the most of the limited space. And then I turned her vision into reality. A huge consideration with this one was to have easy access to the boiler for annual servicing and general repairs. The bespoke shelving unit inside the larder is fully removable with minimal effort, which will allow great access for the heating engineer.

Panelling is BACK!!

We’ve been doing a lot of panelling recently, as the trend is back.

This week we completed this job which consisted of of adding a lighting circuit to accommodate wall lights, plastering the walls to repair the access points from running the wiring and finally applying the wainscoting panelling.

This client has a decorator they have used for years who they had already booked to complete the decorating.

We can’t wait to see the completed job!

I cover all skill sets, so if you would like an estimate, feel free to complete my estimate request form below or call me on 07833088764.

We were called in to give this shelving unit a well needed lift.

We made alterations the centre of the unit to accommodate the TV and made doors to conceal the lower shelving.

The client wanted a hand brushed finish, so the whole unit was sanded back smooth and hand painted.

We are very happy with the results, as was our client.

We carry out all manner of works, so if you require any assistance with maintenance issues or upcoming projects, please complete our estimate request form and we can arrange a visit to discuss your requirements.

We revisited a property this week to provide an estimate and got to see our work after the decorating had been completed by the client.

We installed the panelling across three floors and two stairwells. The client opted to decorate herself and we think the finish is incredible.

The black doors and banisters really complement the neutral colours.

We completed this job early this year, but haven't shared the phots yet. This took a fair bit of planning to make the most of the space, especially with the sloped ceiling and bay window to work around, but really happy with how it came together.
Everything is built from MDF and painted in this dusty pink shade the client chose — including a run of high-level storage with a dedicated spot for a ladder rail to reach it, a big drawer unit, some open shelving in the bay, and arched display niches across the top.
Always satisfying when a tricky room finally clicks into place.
If you're thinking about getting something similar done, feel free to complete my estimate request form below and we can arrange a visit to discuss your requirements.

Here's some bespoke storage I made around a month ago. My client wanted to make use of the under-stairs space and also an alcove next to the chimney. I built custom storage with shaker doors and thick alcove shelving.

Another happy customer.

I don't just do carpentry... I carry out kitchen fitting, bathroom fitting, plumbing, tiling, plastering, hard flooring, decorating, electrics, which makes me a one stop solution for all your home improvement needs.

If you would like a free estimate, please complete my online form below and we can arrange a visit to discuss your works. No job too small.
