Our leopard print carpet has gone down today — and we are OBSESSED! 🤎✨

The transformation is really starting to come together, and we’re so excited to be bringing some lovely newness to the heart of Holmfirth at The Pattern Principle Interiors.

There’s still plenty more to reveal, so keep your eyes peeled for more sneak peeks over the next few days… 👀✨

✨ WE’RE REFRESHING OUR HEART HOME! ✨

From 2pm today, we’ll be closing the doors at 25 Victoria Street as we begin an exciting refurbishment of our new Heart Home Design Store. 🏡✨

We reopen on Wednesday 2nd September at 11am — and we honestly can’t wait to welcome you into our refreshed space! 🤍

We’re so excited to bring new and additional product ranges to our local high street and our wonderful community, alongside the home bespoke and design services you already know and love.

💌 Don’t worry — our current service will be completely unaffected.
We’ll be on hand throughout next week to answer your calls and emails, so you can still contact us as usual.

10 years. A whole decade of The Pattern Principle 🤍

Before this was even an idea, there was another pivotal moment — meeting my husband in Nottingham who had started a business in Manchester, and a move to West Yorkshire was already on the horizon. That change in life set the wheels in motion for everything that followed.

What began as an idea grew into a life’s journey — shaped by a love of interiors, years in textile buying and the reality of balancing a career with two young children in an industry that didn’t flex!

So, with the encouragement of Craig aka ‘the husband’ The Pattern Principle was born.

From working with one curtain maker to building an in-house team, navigating COVID, industry highs, big changes, and now evolving into a smaller, agile business, we’ve adapted every step of the way.

We’ve faced challenges both globally and locally, but we’re still here. Still on the high street. Still creating, listening, and problem-solving for your homes.

We wouldn’t be here without the people behind the scenes — our fitters, decorators, seamstresses, delivery teams, our customers and the support of our family which means everything.

10 years on, we’re still passionate about what we do: listening to you and creating homes that truly reflect who you are.

The kids have grown - they have opinions too, the husband is still here and a big shout out to Tracey for navigating the good ship PP with me!
