A full garden transformation completed last month in Dodworth, Barnsley.

Designed by Claire Durkan Garden Design and built by Peak Landscapes, this project brought together a wide range of bespoke landscaping elements to create a practical, detailed and beautifully finished outdoor space.

The build included:

• Bespoke garden studio with integrated potting shed
• BBQ / outdoor cooking station
• Small water feature
• Indian sandstone paving and patio areas
• Self-binding gravel paths
• New raised planting beds
• Replacement retaining wall and steps clad in Egyptian limestone
• Bespoke timber pergolas
• Steel mesh trellis for climbing plants

A great project to be involved with from start to finish, with plenty of detail, craftsmanship and different materials coming together throughout the build.

We are all but finished on our latest job in Upperthong and I’ve got to say it is looking fantastic.
The team have done an excellent job of bringing Pike Studio's design to life. So much work has gone in to this garden build, limited space for deliveries and access have complicated things but we got there. The client is over the moon with the finish and the reality of the design has surpassed his expectations… and it has only just been planted so will only get better.
The garden has so many lovely features which I will include in a later post as well as further details of the build. But for now, here’s a few shots taken in the evening to whet your appetite
