Gledhill Stainlesslite Slimline Indirect 210L going in a family home in Leek, as part of a wider restoration. Just the electricians to wire up the 2 Nest controllers and underfloor heating now.

🛁 That’s enough to take 3 baths in a row and still be able to do the dishes.
💨 Not to mention a reheat time of on 12 minutes from cold, these guys aren’t going to be without hot water.

A couple of these Gledhill 120L Unvented Cylinders fitted today. Each providing hot water to a small flat.

One of many Landlord Gas Safety checks carried out by hohm this August, on student accommodation, getting ready for another year.

Our customer in Knutsford came to us with a problem. Due to Covid the planned extension and conversion of his garage had stalled.

He was keen to keep up momentum by still getting the boiler upgraded and moved from the airing cupboard. This will eventually make way for a new family sized bathroom.

We came up with the following plan;
1. Move existing gas meter to make way for new boiler.
2. Dot and dab 1 plasterboard in this location, get it plastered and leave ready for builders once garage conversion begins.
3. Install new Worcester boiler.
4. Remove existing boiler and connect new boiler to heating, hot and cold water systems.

This solution meant that our customer can get the builders in whenever he is ready, and meant with a young family that they didn’t need to go one night without hot water.

Another Worcester Greenstar 8000 Life 35kW gone in.

Thursday evening - Carried out Landlords Gas Safety Check at a shared house in Hanley, found the boiler to be dangerous. Landlord decided to replace the boiler rather than repair (good choice, Ideal Isar - if you have ever had one you will know)

Late Thursday evening - replaced faulty electric shower in shared bathroom, basically forced into it by irate tenants who weren’t too happy that I had condemned their boiler. (Only trying to save your life guys)

Saturday - Returned early (much to the dismay of the hungover house mates) and installed this beauty. 12 year guarantee and worlds apart from the boiler it replaced in terms of reliability.
