Some projects are straightforward renovations.

Others require us to work through challenges as the project develops.

This project involved the extensive renovation and retrofit of an existing home to Passivhaus standard, transforming both the property and the way it performs.

As the work progressed, we uncovered a number of unexpected challenges within the existing building. Our focus throughout was on finding the right solutions, keeping the client informed and making what could have been a stressful process as straightforward as possible.

The result is a completely transformed home that is more comfortable, energy efficient and ready for the family to enjoy for years to come.

A complete rear extension and renovation, designed to give this home more space, more light and improved energy efficiency.

The project included a new rear extension with a large roof lantern, opening up the back of the property to create a bright and spacious kitchen and living area.

Alongside the extension, we installed underfloor heating and insulated render to the rear of the property, helping to improve the comfort and thermal performance of the existing home.

Internally, the project was taken through to completion with a fully fitted kitchen, bespoke built in shelving and carefully considered finishes throughout.

From the early structural work through to the finished kitchen, this was a complete transformation delivered by the EcoBuilders.Green team.
