# # 🏉 BREAKING BARRIERS THROUGH SPORT 🏉
**Help us raise £15,000 to give more young people across Luton the opportunity to discover rugby — and everything that comes with being part of our game.**
The Community Rugby Trust exists for one simple reason: **to make sure a child’s circumstances are never the reason they miss out on sport.**
We go directly into schools and community organisations across Luton, introducing rugby to young people who might otherwise never get the opportunity to pick up a ball or walk through the gates of a rugby club.
Because those of us who know rugby understand that it offers far more than 80 minutes on a pitch.
**It creates friendships. It builds confidence. It encourages healthier lifestyles. It supports mental wellbeing. It teaches teamwork, resilience and belonging. And, for some young people, it can genuinely change the direction of their lives.**
But getting children to try rugby is only the beginning. **We need to help them stay in the game.**
Every penny we raise goes towards delivering coaching in schools or helping young players continue their rugby journey. Sometimes that means providing boots or playing kit. Sometimes it means helping with the costs that could otherwise prevent a child from joining a club.
