Ashe manages the design and construction of buildings for public and private sector clients nationwide. We serve a great diversity of markets and industries on: new construction, internal and external refurbishment, alterations and fit-outs.

We are pleased to welcome Izaak and Ella as our newest Assistant Site Supervisors through our ASPIRE Academy programme.

Over the coming years, they will take part in our rotational development programme, gaining valuable experience both on site and in the office. Their placements will provide insight into key areas of the business, including Surveying, Design Management, Procurement, Health & Safety and Estimating, while also studying towards a Level 4 Construction Site Supervisor Apprenticeship at university.

To mark World Mental Health Day, our Mental Health First Aiders and Ashe Belong representatives visited construction and roofing sites across the business, while also spending time with colleagues at Head Office, encouraging open conversations and raising awareness of the support available.

The team showcased our Ashe Belong wellbeing boxes, highlighting the resources and support networks available whenever they're needed.

We believe that looking after our mental wellbeing is just as important as looking after our physical health. By creating opportunities to talk, listen and support one another, we can help build a stronger, healthier workplace for everyone.

We recently revisited our completed Sandy Secondary School project to capture some fantastic new drone footage, and it was great to see the campus thriving.

Procured through the Pagabo Major Works framework, the works saw 28 new classrooms, five IT suites, two specialist food technology rooms, a brand-new Sixth Form centre, and a purpose-built SEND block, creating an inclusive and inspiring environment for students to learn, grow and achieve.

We're proud to have played our part in helping to create a modern learning environment that will support generations of students for years to come.

Ashe Roofing has now started an an 18-week roofing refurbishment project at Amwell View School in Stanstead Abbotts, working in partnership with Hertfordshire County Council and Artelia.

The works will see selected roof areas refurbished to help extend their lifespan and provide enhanced protection ahead of the winter months. Site Manager Thomas and Contracts Manager Lee will oversee the project from start to finish, ensuring it is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Using high-quality roofing systems supplied by Langley, we're helping provide a durable, long-term solution that will protect the school for years to come.

Last week we welcomed two new apprentices to the ASPIRE Academy and gave them a day to remember🎉

We kicked things off with a visit to one of our Stevenage sites, where John, our Project Manager, shared the story behind the projects delivered on the campus and showed the team around the facilities.

From there, it was on to Letchworth Golf Club for the Apprentice Apprentice Challenge. Working in teams, our apprentices were challenged to organise the next ASPIRE Academy Day, balancing a strict budget, client-style brief and plenty of creative thinking.

To round off the day, we swapped hard hats for helmets at Teamworks Go Karting.

After a fiercely contested Grand Prix, Olly "The Stig" emerged victorious and took home the bragging rights for fastest apprentice on the track. Congratulations, Olly!

A huge thank you to everyone who got involved. Days like these are a fantastic opportunity for our apprentices to learn, collaborate and strengthen relationships across the business.

What surprised us most about creating We Are Ashe was that we started by trying to explain the business, but ended up capturing something much more important.

The people.

What began as a project to improve our induction experience evolved into a celebration of our culture, our colleagues and what it means to be part of Ashe.

From filming across live construction sites to perfecting rain scenes and train shots, the journey behind the film was just as memorable as the finished result.
